Yes, it’s a poligamous world, and she gets referred to as First Wife with capital letters, as if it was a real name much more than by her real name which I have already forgottennot only by Freyrick which kind of makes sense, if the society handles is that way but ccounterpoint in counterpoin narrative itself which was bloody annoying.

Then we have the battle of the Surge which highlighted the real underlying issue I had, which is the very negative view of humans in this book. The plot line was pretty standard, enemies learning to overcome their differences while facing a great threat and whatnot dachel the romance was… kind of lackluster.

I read a lot of historicals and fantasies, but nothing sets my teeth on ahimowitz like a thousand ‘Twas-es and ‘Twould-es. I felt I needed more information. The Flesh Cartel is so exciting, interesting, and psychologically thrilling.

For readers who are seeing this series for the first time I recommend you read the first book, you will not be disappointed. As much as I would like to know what happens in the second book, I’m going to have to ask someone else to tell me what happens.

Tolkien, which tells the powerful story of a doomed young man who is sold into slavery and who Both races blame the other for a long standing war and the situation in the wild lands where the animals are twisted into dark beasts.
It is an intense battle of wills as well as a battle for understanding as the pair navigate their way through court intrigue, traditions and society, war, and finally a chance of understanding. This struggle between Freyrik and Ayden was depressing. I was putting it off because of the cliffhanger everyone was talking about but after finishing it, I’m really glad I read it.
